During a “sexy party,” a Russian model falls to her death from a hotel balcony in Thailand.
Police are looking into how an adult model died after she fell off the balcony of a Thai resort and was found holding human hair.
A Russian adult model was found to be the tourist who fell more than 24 meters to her death from a hotel window during a party.
The Sun says that 37-year-old Russian webcam girl Evgenia Simonova died after falling from an eighth-floor balcony of a Thai resort residential complex and breaking her leg.
She was found with human hair in her hand, which is being tested for DNA by Thai police.
People know that the Russian woman had social media accounts under a different name and that she live-streamed shows on adult sites right up until she died.
In one, she said she was “a web model” and invited people into her private chat room.
Smirnova was born in the Russian city of Nizhny Novgorod. She moved to Moscow and left for Phuket on May 25 from there.
Her body was found early Tuesday morning.
People know that this wasn’t her first trip to Thailand.
According to the Bangkok Post, a 35-year-old Russian woman, Natalia Kosenkova, and two men were arrested on suspicion of using drugs soon after the death in Phuket’s Patong, which has a lively nightlife scene.
Americans Jamaal Antwaun Smith, 38, and Jordanians Ahmad Radi Mustafa Alatoom, 28, were named as the two men.
After Smirnova’s death, the Alatoom tried to leave Thailand by plane. They were stopped.
Police were quoted in the news saying that there was evidence of a “sex, drugs, and alcohol party” at the condo complex where Smirnova fell to her death.
Kosenkova, a model and DJ who used to work as a dental assistant and traveled to Dubai and Ukraine, said she was freed today. She called Sirnova’s death a “unfortunate incident,” but she didn’t say more.
Before, a copy of her passport got into the wrong hands.
“The case is not hard because we are innocent,” she said, adding that her lawyer had told her not to talk about the case in detail.
“All I can say is that this was a bad thing that happened, but it wasn’t a murder, and none of the people involved are to blame.”
She said, “They locked us up in a cage but let us go.”
Kosenkova said that she had only met Simonova, another Russian, on the night of the attack.
She also denied stories in the Thai media that there was sex and drugs at the party, even though police were said to have found condom wrappers and finely ground cannabis.
She said, “I didn’t know Evgenia Smirnova until that night.”
“I didn’t know the girl because she just showed up at the party we were at.”
And she called her friend [Alatoom], who also showed up and did something wrong.
“Both I and my friend [Smith], whom I’ve known for a long time, acted with respect and dignity,” I can say.
The police believe in us. The police say that they are not worried about us.”
She also said, “I’m just a visitor here… I’ve been living here for five months. ” I’m just another tourist. It was always a drunken party. Every day, someone dies here.”
Thai news sources quote Police Major General Sermphan Sirikhon as saying that his officers are looking into three possibilities: an accident, a suicide, or a murder.
Earlier, Police Lieutenant Colonel Chomphunuch Anantayakun said, “We think the woman may have fallen off the balcony by accident while looking at the view.”
But it could be a murder that started with a fight.
“We are currently questioning the people involved.”
The woman’s hair will be tested for DNA to find out who it belongs to.”
