The radio host and former Nine star was called out on the air this morning for a strange habit. The host joked that it might be a sign of a “midlife crisis.”
FaceTime calls from Erin Molan can get a little X-rated.
The weird habit of the host of The Morning Crew with Hughesy, Ed, and Erin was revealed live on air by her sister Felicity on Wednesday morning during a talk about nudity in the home.
Felicity says that her brother or sister often answers her FaceTime calls while he or she is completely naked.
“The problem I have with Erin is that she’s very honest about it. When I FaceTime her, she could just say, “Sorry, now isn’t a good time.” “I call her, but she always picks up,” she said.
“And I usually FaceTime her when I’m out having coffee, so I have to make sure no one is watching over my shoulder.”
Her shocked co-host Dave Hughes then explained, “So Erin answers FaceTime calls while she’s naked and doesn’t know where you are?”
“Absolutely. “I should be working!” Felicity talked back.
Molan, who is 39 years old, joked that it might be a “midlife crisis,” but her sister told her that it’s usually not “full-frontal” nudity.
“It’s kind of like a weird artsy European film or something, where there are little objects hiding things,” she said, joking that it made her “uncomfortable.”
Molan said on her 2DayFM breakfast show earlier this year that she was dating a single parent like herself after breaking up with Sean Ogilvy last September.
At first, she didn’t want to talk about her new boyfriend. When asked, she said it was “early days” with the single dad she’s been on a few dates with.
Hughesy, your co-host, asked, “Are you seeing a little bit of a certain guy?”
“A little… “Maybe,” she said in response.
Molan told her listeners in January that she was back on the dating scene, but “not in a skanky way.”
It happened four months after the breakfast radio host told her fiance, homicide detective Sean Ogilvy, that they were breaking up.
“Let’s just say it’s been fruitful,” she said of her life as a single person.
The former host of Channel 9 was engaged to Ogilvy since 2017, and they had a baby girl, Eliza, the next year.
