Coming Soon: Come Dance With Me Season 1. Cast, Release Date and More.
Controversy comes up from time to time because “Dancing With the Stars” lets famous people who have danced before compete. This won’t be an issue on the new CBS reality show “Come Dance With Me.”
We like to think of its unique idea this way: What would happen if you took the moms from “Dance Moms” who have never danced competitively and made their daughters yell at them about sick feet? Or, what if the dancers on “So You Think You Can Dance” had to teach a family member with two left feet their moves instead of just impressing a panel of judges with their own skills?
“Come Dance With Me” is a TV show that features young dancers from all over the country who invite a family member who hasn’t danced before to be their partner for a chance to show off their moves for a big prize. But, in the preview, one mother says that her daughter wants to do the show because she wants to “rule me around.” This show has the chance to find the next Derek Hough or Cheryl Burke, and we think that CBS is hoping that the same people who have watched “Dancing With the Stars” for 30 years will watch this show, too. The reality show “Come Dance With Me” has celebrity judges and is linked to a couple of crime show stars. This is everything we know about the show.
As soon as possible.
To find out if “Come Dance With Me” is good TV, you won’t have to wait long. Viewers will be able to see a new twist on the classic pairing of polished dancers and soft feet on Friday, April 15. “Undercover Boss,” a well-known reality show, will be the show’s lead-in. People who sign up for Paramount+ can watch the show live or on demand. The show starts at 8pm ET on CBS, and you can also watch it live or on demand.
A CBS press release says that 12 dancing duos will learn a new style of choreography each week, so even the show’s most skilled dancers might be forced to step outside their comfort zone. A dancer who is only trained in jazz might have a hard time learning a ballroom routine, and on top of that, they’ll have to teach it to someone who has never danced before!
This is how it works: Each week, one team will be kicked out of the competition. Those pairs with the lowest scores will perform freestyle routines, and the judges will decide which ones will stay and which ones will go home, So, what is the reason to stay until the end? “The Amazing Race” and “Survivor” are both popular CBS reality shows, but “The Amazing Race” and “Survivor” both have $1 million prizes.
The cast of Come Dance with Me Season 1 is who?
Jenna Dewan, the star of “Step Up,” is one of the judges on “Come Dance With Me.” This is the same format that has worked for years. According to Deadline, she used to be the host of the now-canceled NBC show “World of Dance.” That show’s judging panel had a lot of big names on it, like Jennifer Lopez, Derek Hough, and Ne-Yo.
There are no big names on “Come Dance With Me,” but its other two judges are experts in their field. According to iCoachDance, Tricia is a hip hop choreographer and has worked with artists like Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, and Gwen Stefani. With J.Lo, Prince, and Britney Spears, she’s also done shows with her. Dexter Mayfield is the third member of the group. On the website for the Bloc talent agency, he says that Taylor Swift’s “You Need To Calm Down” music video is where you might have seen him. Besides Katy Perry and Lopez, he’s also worked with those two. He has won eight Grammys and worked with Bruno Mars and Lil Wayne, and Philip Lawrence will host the show.
When it comes to the dancers, they will be between the ages of 9 and 15, according to a press release (via Futon Critic). A doctor, a social worker, an engineer, and one of Limp Bizkit’s drummers are among the relatives they’ll be teaching and dancing with.
The series’ unlikely producers are NCIS: LA stars
“Come Dance With Me” might not have been made if it weren’t for two stars of the CBS crime show “NCIS: LA.” Actors LL Cool J and Chris O’Donnell, who are close friends in real life, are in charge of making the reality show. They told Variety why they both thought the show was good in a joint statement. As a joke, they said, “We think this idea is fun for the whole family.” (O’Donnell has five kids, while LL has four.) This is because:
LL and O’Donnell were on the set of “NCIS: LA” when they decided to work together as a team behind the lens. If you see someone else looking at your email, you can ask them what it says. Because LL and O’Donnell are so close, he did. “I told him it was my friend’s idea for a new show.” “‘I think that thing is hot!’ You should. This is what you’d like.” In fact, LL was so excited about the idea that he offered to work with O’Donnell to make the show.
People can work together to make “their dreams come true” with “Come Dance With Me.” LL said he likes that. Then, in the preview, one mom said that she signed up for the show because she thought it would be a good thing for her child’s future. She said, “I just want his talent to be seen. That’s all I want.” Aww!
