After an autopsy, the cause of Stephen tWitch Boss’s death was found.
An autopsy is said to have shown that Stephen “tWitch” Boss killed himself by shooting himself in the head.
The beloved 40-year-old DJ for “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” was found dead at the Oak Tree Inn in Encino, California, on Tuesday after he missed his check-out time.
After that, the Los Angeles Medical Examiner did an autopsy, and Boss’s body is now ready to be given to his 34-year-old wife, Allison Holker, according to RadarOnline.com.
The Post has reached out to the office of the medical examiner to make sure.
“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share that my husband Stephen has left us,” Holker said in a statement to The Post on Wednesday morning, confirming her husband’s death. “Stephen lit up every room he walked into,” the statement said. “He cared most about his family, his friends, and his community. Leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and a role model for his fans.

Boss was best known as the DJ on Ellen DeGeneres’ daytime show, which he started working on in 2014.
He became an executive producer in 2020 and stayed with Ellen DeGeneres until her show ended in 2022.
The talk show host talked about her friend’s death in a statement that The Post got Wednesday afternoon.
“My heart is broken,” said the 64-year-old. “tWitch was nothing but light and love. I loved him with all my heart because he was my family. He will be missed. Please send Allison and his three beautiful children, Weslie, Maddox, and Zaia, your love and support.
In 2003, Boss was a contestant on “The Wade Robson Project” on MTV. In 2008, “So You Think You Can Dance” made him a well-known name. Six years later, he joined DeGeneres’ show.
Since 2018, “Disney’s Fairytale Weddings” on Disney+ has been hosted by Boss and Holker, who is also a professional dancer.
They got married on December 10, 2013, and just recently celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary.
“It’s our ninth wedding anniversary! I couldn’t be happier to be able to enjoy this perfect, magical day!” Holker wrote a Saturday Instagram post.
“Saying “yes” to @sir twitch alot was one of the best things I’ve ever done!! I’m so lucky and happy!! I love you, baby, and I’ll never take you or OUR love for granted. I LOVE YOU.”
