Travis Barker was taken to the hospital after a colonoscopy because he had pancreatitis.
A new report says that Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday because a colonoscopy caused his pancreas to get very inflamed.
Sources told TMZ that Barker, 46, recently had the procedure, which led to his pancreatitis, which can cause nausea, stomach pain, vomiting, and other symptoms.
Barker was taken to a hospital near the Los Angeles home he shares with his wife Kourtney Kardashian before being taken by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Kardashian married Barker last month, and since then, she is said to have stayed by his side.
People also heard from someone close to Barker that he had pancreatitis. This person said, “He was complaining of cramps.”
A different source told People, “Yesterday, Kourtney was worried. They were both.”
Barker tweeted “God save me” on Tuesday, which may have been a sign of his health.
Alabama Barker, Barker’s 16-year-old daughter with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler, wrote on Tuesday night on her Instagram story, “Please send your prayers.”
The Daily News asked Barker’s representative for a comment Wednesday, but they didn’t get back to us right away.
Cancer.org says that people with an average risk of colorectal cancer should start getting colonoscopies at age 45.
