After a sold-out farewell tour in 2009, the rock legend retired from playing and has since been ravaged by health problems, including a stroke, cancer, and a kidney transplant.

Turner’s last goodbye to fans is also depicted in the film, as the “Queen of Rock n Roll” wishes to reach the final period of her life in privacy.
