A model has gone public with claims that she had a long affair with the married Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine. She has also shared what she says are DMs from Levine.
A model said she had a long affair with Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, who is currently expecting his third child with wife Behati Prinsloo.
Sumner Stroh, a 23-year-old model, says that singer Adam Levine told her he wanted to name his unborn child after her in DMs she says he sent her and that have been viewed more than 5.8 million times.
She wrote in the caption, “Embarrassed I was with a man with this complete lack of remorse and respect.”
Just a few days ago, Levine’s wife Prinsloo announced that the couple was expecting their third child. Levine, who is 43, has been married to the Namibian model, who is 34, since 2014.
Stroh says that she and Levine dated for about a year. She says that Levine sent her messages that said, “I can’t believe how f***ing hot you are. Like, I can’t believe it. You’re 50 times sexier in real life.”
But she says they stopped talking until Levine allegedly sent her a direct message (DM) in June telling her he was having another baby and asking if it was “OK” if he named the child after her.
“OK serious question. I’m going to have another child, and if it’s a boy, I really want to call him Sumner. Is that OK with you? It says, “This is DEAD serious.”
Stroh says that Levine sent the DM back in June, after they hadn’t talked for a long time.
Stroh says on her TikTok that she “had an affair with a man who was married to a Victoria’s Secret model.” “I was young and naive,” she says of the alleged affair. I feel like I’ve been used, to be honest. I wasn’t as close to the action as I am now. So I was very easy to get to do what you wanted.”
“At this point, Maroon 5 is almost like elevator music,” she said. “So, you must know who Adam Levine is, right? Adam and I were together for about a year. This is how he came back into my life after I stopped talking to him for a few months.
Stroh also explained why she was going public with the story. She said, “I sent some screenshots carelessly to a few friends I thought I could trust, and one of them tried to sell to a tabloid, so here I am.”
Levine hasn’t said anything about the accusations in public yet. He and his wife, Prinsloo, have two daughters, Dusty Rose, age 5, and Gio Grace, age 4. In recent years, the African-born beauty has talked about how they want to have a big family.
“We’ve always wanted a second child. So, I think when I had two babies under the age of two, I just told myself, “Don’t even think about it!” But I also want five kids, but don’t even think about it,” she told Entertainment Tonight last year.
