Her new single Rumors, and her return to the stage, are discussed
When it comes to her return to the charts after the coronavirus outbreak, Lizzo isn’t afraid to talk about it.
In two years, the Grammy-winning American singer launched her first new song with the release of ‘Rumors’ on August 13.
Cardi B appears on the song, which is the 33-year-first old’s new music since the release of her 2019 album ‘Cuz I Love You’.
While appearing on Sunrise with Cardi B, she admitted that she’d always wanted to record a song with her.
While writing Rumors, I thought to myself: “Yeah, she’s going to give it her all, and she did not disappoint.”
‘I love that it’s danceable, and I love that you’ve got to listen again to figure out what she’s just said,’ the singer remarked of the track.
For the first time in almost two years, Lizzo, who became a household name in 2019 with the hits Juice and Good As Hell, said she can’t wait to get back on stage because she likes “connecting” with her fans and the “energy” of a crowd.
“I don’t even know whether I’m still going to be good at it,” she laughed after spending so much time at home.
This will be the first time I’ve performed since February 2020. I could forget a few words!”
Neither the title nor the release date of Lizzo’s next album, which is slated to be released this year, have been announced.
