Rebel Wilson’s latest swimsuit photo inspires fans following her recent 27-pound weight loss.
Rebel Wilson shared a photo of herself soaking up the sun in Florida during Memorial Day weekend in the United States, and fans couldn’t stop remarking on how fit the actor appeared following her yearlong weight loss journey.
Wilson struck a power pose on the beach wearing a black one-piece swimsuit, a blue fedora, and white sunglasses.
“We’re Palm Beach-ing. I’m thinking about relocating to Florida right now,” she wrote on Instagram.
Wilson committed to a “year of health” in honor of her 40th birthday in 2020 and kept her fans updated on her progress, including her health-related strategies.
“Wow, this is incredible. Wilson, you deserve to be extremely proud of your dedication,” one fan wrote on his Memorial Day photo.
“Wow!” You look incredible and are truly inspirational,” another wrote.
“You (sic) are a source of inspiration. “You’re looking incredible,” someone else added.
“Move over, Pam Anderson; a new Baywatch babe has arrived!
Wilson expressed her joy last November after reaching her goal weight with one month remaining in the year.
“Even though it’s not about a specific weight, it’s about being healthy, I needed a tangible goal, and 75kg fit the bill,” she wrote.
In December, the Australian actor shared some of the habits that helped her maintain her weight loss success on Instagram Live.
“I was determined to completely transform my lifestyle in 2020, the year of health,” she explained. “So it meant not only physically, but also mentally.”
Wilson ate mindfully, emphasizing high-protein, nutritious foods. She added that it was also critical for her to maintain a healthy mental state, as she had a history of using food to cope with her emotions.
“It’s simply a matter of managing it and attempting to replace unhealthy habits with healthy ones,” she explained.
Wilson also worked with a trainer and made a point of keeping her body moving, even if that meant taking a walk to get some steps in.
“Weirdly, I never imagined I’d enjoy hiking or walking uphill,” she explained.
“Like, who would have guessed that would be a pleasurable activity? However, frick it’s good. To be out in nature, inhale that fresh air. I adore it, and as a result, I do it constantly now.”
