Olivia Jade responds to ‘Gossip Girl’ mocking her over her parents.
Lori Loughlin’s social media-famous daughter has retaliated against the producers of a new HBO “Gossip Girl” reboot who claim she profited from her parents’ college admissions scandal.
Olivia Jade Giannulli, 21, was mocked on HBO’s Max when one of the characters joked that the offspring amassed followers because her mother and father were imprisoned for the infamous bribery scheme.
In the television scene, a group of girls discuss “losing” — with one stating that it’s “bad for business.”
“As long as you win, everything will be fine. Olivia Jade grew in popularity after her mother was imprisoned,” another character responds.
Olivia Jade — the disgraced former “Fuller House” star and fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli’s daughter — shared the scene on TikTok on Saturday, rubbing her temples with a what-the-hell expression on her face.
“No, I did not,” she responded to the “gained followers” remark.
Loughlin and her husband Mossimo pleaded guilty to conspiracy charges in federal court last year after they were accused of paying $500,000 to get Olivia Jade and her sister, Isabella Rose Giannulli, admitted to the University of Southern California as phony crew team recruits.
Loughlin received a two-month prison sentence, while Giannulli received a five-month sentence.
