Nick Kyrgios’s girlfriend is taken aback by a television interview comment.
Nick Kyrgios is very much focused on his future with girlfriend Costeen Hatzi.
Kyrgios, 26, appeared to astound both Hatzi and Australian television presenter Karl Stefanovic during a recent interview on “Today,” when he delivered a honest statement regarding his growing relationship.
“To be honest, none of it would have occurred without her,” Kyrgios said of his January Australian Open doubles victory, according to News.com.au.
Hatzi, whose relationship with Kyrgios became public in late 2021, also said “yes” when asked if Kyrgios will be her “last tennis player.”
Kyrgios then casually added, “Until the small ones arrive,” to Stefanovic’s “whoa” and Hatzi’s “What?”
When Stefanovic redirected the conversation to the future, Hatzi suggested Kyrgios take the wheel.
“She’s not ready to discuss it yet, but I’m not leaving anytime soon,” Kyrgios added.
Kyrgios, who ended his relationship with Chiara Passari last fall, has openly gushed about Hatzi, the founder of Casa Amor Interiors, in recent Q&As. Kyrgios discussed the couple’s romance on the “Life Uncut” podcast in February.
Hatzi accompanied Kyrgios to the Australian Open in January, including the moment he won the doubles title with Thanasi Kokkinakis.
“THE 2022 AUSTRALIAN OPEN DOUBLES CHAMPIONS!! I adore you and am really proud of you. What amazing accomplishment; no one else is more deserved than you,” she captioned an Instagram video.
