‘Of course,’ Natalie Wood’s sister stated, Robert Wagner murdered her.
For four decades, Natalie Wood’s drowning death in 1981 has remained one of Hollywood’s great mysteries.
However, her sister Lana Wood feels there is only one person responsible for Natalie’s death: her husband, Robert Wagner.
“I’m not convinced that was planned,” Lana, 75, told The Post. “But that is not to say I believe he did not do it: Of course he did!”
Now, she has published “Little Sister: My Investigation into Natalie Wood’s Mysterious Death” (Dey Street Books), which will be released on Tuesday. The book — which is equal parts memoir and true-crime investigation based on newly discovered evidence by homicide police — tries to dispel falsehoods and provide light on the circumstances behind Natalie’s terrible death.

Lana also claimed in it that star Kirk Douglas sexually raped an adolescent Natalie, confirming one of Hollywood’s most enduring rumors.
According to the book, their mother, Maria, dropped Natalie off at the Chateau Marmont for a meeting with Douglas, a prominent actor at the time.
