Rapper Theophilus London has been missing in Los Angeles since October, according to reports.
Theophilus London was last seen in the Skid Row neighborhood of Los Angeles in October, and no one has talked to him since July.
Rapper Theophilus London is thought to be missing after his family told authorities that they had “lost complete contact” with him.
The last time anyone saw London, who is 35 years old, was on Oct. 15 in the Skid Row neighborhood of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Police Department said Wednesday, confirming that a missing person report had been filed.
“The person who made the report and Theophilus’s family haven’t heard from him since October 2022,” the Los Angeles police said in a statement. Since then, London hasn’t been seen, and his family is worried.
NBC News says that London’s family went to Los Angeles on Tuesday to file a missing person’s report in person. Authorities are now asking for help from the public to find the musician.
His father, Lary Moses London, told CNN in a statement, “Theo, your Dad loves you, son.” “We miss you. And all of your family and friends are looking for you. Send us a message from wherever you are. We’ll come get you no matter what, son.”
The music label Secretly, which used to represent London, said in a statement on Wednesday that the lyricist’s friends and family are desperately trying to put together a rough timeline of where he was and what he was doing before he vanished. The label said that the last time anyone talked to London was in July.
“If you know anything about his whereabouts or health, please contact his cousin Mikhail Noel at @iamdjkellz on Instagram or the LAPD,” London’s family added.
His website says that he was born in Trinidad and Tobago. He moved to New York City after that. “Timez Are Weird These Days,” his first full-length album, came out in 2011.
London has worked with many well-known musicians over the years, such as Ye (the artist who used to be called Kanye West), Raekwon, Travis Scott, Tame Impala, Big Boi, Tame Impala, and others. London was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2015 for his part on Ye’s song “All Day,” which was a rap.
In 2020, on his own label, he put out his third album, “Bebey.”
“I wanted to see what a sense of family is, a sense of me having a plot of land and building a house on my own land instead of sleeping at a hotel for the rest of my life,” London told Complex in a January 2020 story about his newfound independence after starting his label, My Beybey Records, and moving to Los Angeles.
In different interviews, London talked about how moving to the West Coast made him feel like making music again.
In a 2021 interview with YouTuber EricTheYoungGawd, London said of California, “I love to make things here.”
The hip-hop artist from the Caribbean was also on Young Franco’s single “Get Your Money,” which came out in September, a few weeks before London was said to have been seen last. The singer hasn’t posted anything on social media in a while.
Thursday, the Los Angeles Police Department said that the search for the missing songwriter had not led to any new information.
Officer Rosario Cervantes said in a short statement, “There are no changes.”
People say that London has black hair and brown eyes. He is about 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 175 pounds. Near his left eyebrow, he was born with a mark.
