Actor Julian Sands was found to be the hiker who went missing on a mountain in California.
It is known that Julian Sands, a British actor who has been in many movies and TV shows, is missing in the mountains of Southern California.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department told ABC 7 on Wednesday that Sands, who is 65 years old, was last seen hiking in the Mount Baldy area last week. Officials said that the search has been hard because the 10,000-foot mountain has had bad weather and there were “few” planes available over the weekend.
Authorities say that Sands’ family reported him missing on Friday.
“His wife did report that he was missing,” Gloria Huerta, the sheriff’s office’s public information officer, told an ABC affiliate. “From what I know, he went hiking sometime that day and didn’t come back. His family reported him missing when he didn’t come back.”
Sands has been in movies like “Arachnophobia,” “A Room with a View,” “Warlock,” and “Leaving Las Vegas” since the 1980s, when he began his career.
In 2006, he was on “24,” and in 2013, he was on Season 8 of “Dexter.”

Sands was born in West Yorkshire, England, on January 4, 1958. He now lives in Los Angeles.
The Post has tried to get Sands’s side of the story.
Officials are also looking for hiker Bob Gregory in Los Angeles County, which is a separate search.
His family reported him missing on Monday, and ABC 7 said that the Crystal Lake area of the San Gabriel Mountains is where the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s San Dimas station has been looking for him.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said that its search-and-rescue teams have been called to Mount Baldy and the area around it 14 times in the last four weeks to help people in trouble.
“These rescue missions were for hikers who were lost, stuck, or hurt. “Unfortunately, in the last four weeks, two hikers who fell and hurt themselves did not make it,” the department said.
“Please know that the weather on Mt. Baldy is bad and very dangerous right now. Because of the strong winds, the snow has turned to ice, making it very dangerous to go hiking.”
