Kelsey Turner, a former Playboy model, kills a child psychiatrist.
The former Playboy model accused of murdering a 71-year-old child psychiatrist in California has agreed a plea deal in her death.
Kelsey Turner, who posed for Playboy Italia and Maxim, could be jailed for up to 25 years after accepting Alford’s plea. This means that he did not confess to killing Dr. Thomas Burchard, but he agreed to accept whatever sentence the court gave him.
In March 2019, Burchard’s body was found in the trunk of a Mercedes in Las Vegas. At the time, police said he was beaten to death very badly.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal says that Turner is dating Buchard. He gave her thousands of dollars so she could pay her rent in Salinas and then in Las Vegas.
Burchard went to Las Vegas in March 2019 to see how Turner was doing before he died. There, Turner was beaten to death with a baseball bat.
The newspaper said that Turner’s ex-girlfriends Joe Kennison and Diana Pena also pleaded guilty in connection with the doctor’s death. The three of them share an apartment in Las Vegas.
Turner was linked to the car in which Burchard’s body was found, and a few weeks after Burchard’s body was found, federal agents in California arrested him.
Law and Crime said his sentencing would be in January. He can get only 10 years.
The next time he was supposed to go to court was on November 15th.
