Several people were shot near a West Hollywood restaurant that was hosting a Justin Bieber after-party on Saturday night.
Fights broke out near a Justin Bieber after-party early Saturday morning, and four people were shot.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the fight broke out around 2:45 a.m. local time in the 400 block of North La Cienega Boulevard.
One of Bieber’s friends told CNN that the gunshot happened “close, but not immediately in front” of the restaurant and lounge where he was throwing an after-concert party.
Musician was inside venue at time of shooting, according to source, however he opted to leave after hearing about it.
According to the authorities, there was a “physical altercation” between a number of individuals, and a suspect fired bullets before fleeing. On Saturday afternoon, the Los Angeles Police Department issued a statement asking for the public’s help in identifying the perpetrator.
According to police, four persons were shot. In addition to paramedics, two of the wounded were brought to local hospitals by police, while the other two were able to drive themselves there, according to the police.
Police had earlier stated that the incident was not gang-related.
