After being diagnosed with a rare disorder, Justin Bieber’s face went numb.
After being diagnosed with a rare disorder, Justin Bieber is having trouble moving his face.
“I just wanted to let you know what’s been going on. As you can probably tell from looking at my face, I have a condition called Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which is caused by a virus that attacks the nerve in my ear and the nerves in my face. This has left my face paralyzed,” the pop star, who is 28 years old, said in an Instagram video posted on Friday.
Mount Sinai hospital in New York says that Ramsay Hunt syndrome is characterized by a painful rash around the ear, on the face, or in the mouth. It happens when the varicella-zoster virus infects a nerve in the head, which can sometimes lead to paralysis.
“This eye doesn’t blink, as you can see. On this side of my face, I can’t smile. “This nose won’t move, so this side of my face is completely frozen,” Bieber said, pointing to the right side of his face.

“So, for those who are upset that I have to cancel the next shows, it’s because I’m physically unable to do them. As you can see, this is a pretty big deal. I wish it weren’t true, but it’s clear that my body is telling me to slow down.”
The singer of “Peaches” said on Wednesday that he would be putting off a few shows on his Justice World Tour because of a health problem that was not known at the time.
Bieber told his fans on Friday that he plans to “just rest and relax” during the tour’s breaks so that he can “get back to 100 percent.” The tour is set to last until March 2023.
He said, “I’m going to get better, and I’m doing all these facial exercises to get my face back to normal, and it will get better.” “It’s just time, and we don’t know how long it will be, but everything will be fine. I have faith in God and hope that everything is happening for a reason.”

A friend of Bieber’s told Page Six that his family and friends are also hoping that he will get better. “Bieber will be fine,” says the person in the know. “Paralysis on the right side is caused by an infection. He’ll get better.”
In the meantime, the performer’s famous friends have left him lots of encouraging comments.
Bieber’s longtime manager, Scooter Braun, wrote, “Love you and proud of you.” Kehlani added, “Love you dude, please take all the time you need!!”
Jhené Aiko wrote a bunch of prayer hands, and Patrick Schwarzenegger wrote a bunch of red hearts.
“Love you, bro! You’ll do great! Brother, go to sleep. We love u !” DJ Khaled, who worked with Bieber on “I’m the One,” was excited. “GOD LOVES U ! WE LOVE GOD ! Love forever!”
