Justin Bieber Net Worth in 2022: Singer Selling Catalog for Almost $200 Million.
Justin Bieber is working on a music deal that will make him about $200 million times richer than he already is.
Bieber is making money by selling his six studio albums and many singles and collaborations he has released over the years.
Reports say that the “Baby” singer is selling his music catalog to Hipgnosis Songs Capital for close to $200 million. When the deal is done, it will be the largest music-rights deal that the company has ever made.
A source told Variety that the deal isn’t done yet, and that when it is, Bieber’s music will still be owned and managed by Universal.
This nine-figure deal includes the Canadian singer’s publishing and recorded music catalog. However, the Wall Street Journal said that these kinds of deals are getting harder to close.
Trouble?
Even though there are no official reports about Bieber’s health or career, many people think that neither is going very well.
His illness, Ramsay Hunt syndrome, could be to blame. The Mayo Clinic says that the syndrome can happen when a case of shingles affects the face.
The singer of “Mistletoe” told his fans, who were looking forward to his tour, about this. “I told the public earlier this year about my struggle with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which left part of my face paralyzed,”
“Because of this illness, I wasn’t able to finish the Justice Tour’s North America leg.”
The “Justice” World Tour that Bieber was supposed to do in 2022 has been pushed back to 2023.
The tour ended in Rio, but the remaining dates will be put on hold, according to the tour’s Instagram account. With less than a month left until 2023, there is still no word on when Bieber will go back on tour.
Bieber is from London, Ontario, which is in Canada. He became well-known in 2008. He became one of the most popular teen artists of his time, and his song “Baby” is one of the highest-certified singles of all time in the US.
Throughout his career, the singer has won a lot of awards and praise. His hit songs “Baby,” “Sorry,” and “Despacito” have all been certified diamond by the RIAA.
In 2011, Time magazine named him one of the 100 most influential people in the world. For three years in a row, Forbes also named him one of the top 10 most powerful celebrities.
He has won Grammys, Latin Grammys, Junos, Brits, Billboard Music Awards, and Americal Music Awards for his music.
