A 31-year-old woman is shocked when fans get her boyfriend’s name wrong.
People have been making a “shocking” mistake about her boyfriend, according to an influencer whose beauty tips have helped her gain a lot of followers.
A US influencer who looks young and is often mistaken for a teenager said that people also think her fiance is her dad because of how young she looks.
Isabelle Lux said that even though she is 31, she is still asked for ID at bars. She has built up a loyal following by sharing beauty tips that help her look younger.
But even though her skin care routine is good for her, the New York woman said that her 7000 followers often get something wrong about her partner.
“When people see me in person, they usually think I’m ten years younger than I am,” she told The Sun.
“I was really surprised to see that some people thought my fiance, who is 1.5 years older than me, was my father.
Isabelle also talked in detail about what she does when she goes out to try to avoid being asked for ID.
“When I’m out, if I’m not dressed well, I’ll often be asked for ID, so when I go out, I try to dress really well so that my clothes are more in line with my age,” she said.
The influencer said that following a strict skincare routine and making certain lifestyle choices are the keys to looking young.
“I didn’t always look younger than I was,” she said. “A good skin care routine can do wonders.”
“Choices I’ve made about my lifestyle have also made a big difference, like not tanning in the sun and not drinking alcohol all the time. I’m also at a healthy weight now.
She said, “I drank a lot in my 20s, and I didn’t realize how bad it was for my skin and appearance until I (mostly) stopped.”
“Now I’ll have a glass of wine with friends or family every two weeks.”
Isabelle, who has a beauty blog called Lux Guide, said in a TikTok video that went viral that she swears by “slugging” and says that it keeps her skin looking “young.”
This method comes from South Korea. After finishing their skincare routine, users put a petroleum-based product on their faces to lock in the ingredients and trap in moisture.
It’s been around for a long time, but it just got a lot of attention on social media, and Isabelle said it really does work.
She said, “I’d been doing it for 15 years before I realized it had a name.”
Many people use petroleum-based Vaseline for this, but Isabelle uses a product called Egyptian Magic, which costs $41.99 and can be bought on Adore Beauty in Australia.
She also told us to tap products into the skin around the eyes instead of rubbing them in, which was one of two other tips she gave us.
“It will not only get the product to the right place, but it will also lift your whole cheekbone as it deflates the area,” she said.
She also likes to sleep with a silk eye mask every night. She says that this has completely changed her eyes and gotten rid of fine lines.
She said that the fine lines have all gone away now that she uses a silk eye mask every day.
Online, many people praised her impressive routine, and some said Isabelle looked 21.
“You look like you’re 21. So putting all of these into action tonight,” one person wrote.
“At first, I really thought you were a teenager. Second, I love how your hair sparkles. ” someone else said.
“No way,” said one woman. Still, I can’t believe you’re 30! ”
