According to Korean media reports, BTS members RM and Jimin recently acquired residences in the prestigious Nine One Hannam complex. Due to the fact that property acquisitions and sales for anyone, celebrity or not, are typically publicized online in Korean registrar sites, word of the stars’ purchase spread quickly.
The media reported on June 1 that RM purchased the property on March 31, 2021, for 6,300,600,000 KRW (around 5.69 million USD). He was said to have paid for it entirely in cash and without taking out any loans. On May 25, 2021, the deed was officially recorded in his name. According to reports, his apartment is approximately 293.93 square meters in total, including utility areas, and approximately 244.34 square meters in usable space (rooms and bathrooms only).
On the other hand, Jimin purchased an apartment with the exact same square meters as RM. On May 26, 2021, the deed was transferred to his name. He acquired the property on March 31, 2021, for approximately 5,900,000,000 KRW (around 5.3 million USD). Jimin also paid in full for this with cash. According to reports, South Korea passed a law prohibiting apartment loans exceeding 15 billion KRW. At 53 billion KRW and above, the new homes of BTS members did not qualify for loans, not that they would need them.
Given the similar measurements, some may wonder why Jimin and RM’s apartments are priced differently. This could be because RM’s unit features a veranda terrace, according to a professional. It is only available to purchasers of units on that floor. Additionally, his building block has superior positioning and views to other blocks.
Nine One Hannam is Seoul’s most expensive apartment complex at the moment. Additionally, the boys will live next door to prominent celebrities such as G-Dragon, So Ji Sub, and Jun Ji Hyun. Although there is no guarantee that the boys will choose to move into the apartments following their purchase, here is an overview of the complex’s amenities.
The entrance is exquisite.

Massive dressing rooms are a standard option.
The living room is connected to the kitchen and the hallway.
