They’re about to set it on fire with dynamite.
Louis Vuitton named K-pop supergroup BTS as the French fashion house’s newest ambassadors on Friday.
RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook wore coordinated pastel shirts for the announcement, which lauded their “uplifting messages imparting a positive impact.”
Fans are unlikely to be surprised by the announcement; in January, BTS appeared in a teaser video for Virgil Abloh’s Fall 2021 collection for the company. And just last month, the singers of “Dynamite” wore custom Louis Vuitton suits to the 2021 Grammy Awards.
Although the band is well-known for their runway-inspired looks in music videos and on red carpets — and has previously partnered with sportswear labels Puma and Fila — this is the band’s first time working as ambassadors for a luxury brand.
The BTS “Army” will anticipate their favorite singers taking part in special projects for the brand and, of course, wearing Vuitton during upcoming performances and appearances.
