BTS recently announced their return to BANGBANGCON in 2021.
They would be doing it again, just as they did last April, according to the Twitter post. “Knock knock knock, is this ARMY’s room? #bangbangcon21 #alreadyoneyear #justlike lastapril #BTSConcertthatcanbeenjoyedintheroom #BANGBANGCON21 #BTS #bangtansonyeondan”
BTS held an online concert streaming event called BANGBANGCON in April 2020, during which they streamed eight of their previous offline concerts for two days. Then, in June, they hosted BANGBANGCON: The Live, a live online concert.
Netizens who saw the news were ecstatic!
- “This is crazy I’m so happy!”
- “They displayed a Muster last year, and I’m hoping they do so again this year.”
- “It’s not even June yet, and it feels as if we’re already in FESTA season.”
- “I’m not a fan of BTS but I want to watch this!”
The 2017 BANGBANGCON will be held on April 17th at 3 p.m. KST.
Fans were unaware of the Bang Bang Con: The Live event until the concert was streamed. The setlist, which included several fan favorites, shocked the ARMYs once it arrived. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook went all out for the live show, which lasted an hour and a half and featured songs like “Jamais Vu,” “Respect,” and “Friends,” as well as “Boy With Luv,” “Dope,” “Black Swan,” and more for the first time.
BTS hasn’t revealed any further details about the 2021 Bang Bang Con, but fans can only assume that the setlist would include old favorites and possibly include old concert streams from previous Bang Bang Cons.
In terms of new music, it seems that BTS’ comeback album is just around the corner. BTS is expected to release a new song in May, according to Sports Donga. If that’s the case, the album could be released as early as May 21, according to fans.
While you’re still waiting for the new album, the band released their track and music video for “Film Out” on April 1 ahead of the release of their Japanese compilation album The Best on June 16.
Remember to tune in to YouTube on April 17 for BTS’ 2021 Bang Bang Con, which promises to be an incredible virtual exhibition.
