In an honest on-camera talk, Anne-Marie of The Voice UK talks about her anxiety problems.
During a break between auditions for The Voice, singer Anne-Marie talked to her co-star Will.I.Am about how she deals with anxiety.
Anne-Marie was brave enough to talk openly with Will.I.Am about how she deals with anxiety. The touching moment was shown on Saturday night’s episode of The Voice on ITV.
Anne-Marie, whose songs like “Ciao Adios,” “2002,” and “Rockabye” were huge hits in the charts, wants to keep winning on the talent show. Last year, she had a great start as a coach and hopes to keep it up this year. She and Will.I.Am were seen talking on screen when The Voice came back from an ad break. Will.I.Am seemed both surprised and impressed by Anne-busy Marie’s schedule as he asked, “You had four singles out last year, an album, you were on The Voice, and you wrote a book?”
Anne-Marie said, “I started therapy during the making of the album, and I wrote about it during the making of the album.” Will.I.Am then asked Anne-Marie, “Do you have anxiety?” Anne-Marie said, “Yes, I do. That’s why I went to therapy.” The Black Eyed Peas singer then admitted that he also has anxiety and said, “A lot of people do.”
Anne-Marie talked about the things she’s tried to deal with her anxiety: “I’ve tried hypnotherapy, yoga, meditation, etc.”
I’ve tried many things. I feel like I need to talk about it now because if I can help someone else, that will make the world a better place, won’t it?” Will listened carefully to what she said and then said, “Yeah, that’s great. I’m very happy for you.”

IAm was talking right before a young singer named Mia went on stage to audition. Mia’s mother said that singing gave her daughter confidence, and Mia herself said that she was painfully shy and wasn’t “very good at making friends.” She also said, “I’m here today to prove to myself that I can do it, because I’ve been feeling like I’m not good enough.”
