Angelina Jolie in Marvel ‘Eternals’ new trailer, cast of eternals

The Eternals are on their way.

Angelina Jolie’s character Thena is shown in full warrior regalia as she faces a Deviant named Kro in a new teaser for the Marvel film published on Sunday.

Sersi, played by Gemma Chan, declares, “We’re Eternals.” “We came here to safeguard humans from the Deviants,” says the narrator.

“When you love something, you fight for it,” Jolie’s Thena adds, demonstrating the Eternals’ vast spectrum of abilities. “You can’t defend any of them,” Kro says as he emerges on screen, holding Thena in his grip.

“Let’s continue this,” Thena says, not convinced.

The Eternals casts

Salma Hayek, Kit Harington, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Barry Keoghan, Brian Tyree Henry, Ma Dong-seok, Lauren Ridloff, and Lia McHugh round out the star-studded cast.

With Henry’s Phastos, the trailer also gave fans a glimpse of Marvel’s first LGBTQ family.

Brian Henry as Phastos

“Never in a million years would I see myself as a member of the MCU. I’ve always been a tremendous supporter. I’ve always been fascinated by superheroes and the idea of humanity in need of salvation “Henry revealed this to Entertainment Weekly. “And I believe that bringing together a group of people who all have these profound feelings about superpowers and saving mankind is something that we all need. It literally brings people from all over the world together. I still can’t believe I’m a part of it.”

Last month, Nanjiani told Entertainment Tonight that on the set of the Marvel picture, he learnt a lot from Jolie and Hayek.

“Angie was adamant about not returning to her trailer. She was always seen on set. She was always in the company of others “he stated “As a result, I discovered that what you perform on camera is simply a small portion of your job.”

“Salma was the one who always invited people over for dinners,” Nanjiani continued. “They’re incredible. Observing both of them has taught me a great deal. You know how to be a pro, right? I was blown away. They are always on time, know all the terminology, are meticulous in their work, and have a strong desire to start a family.”

He continued, “So much depends on how you interact with others. You form a community, a family, or a group by doing so. And they’re both movie stars who appear on camera. In the film, they are great.”

Eternals is directed by Oscar winner and Nomadland filmmaker Chloé Zhao and will be released in theaters on November 5th.
