Alice Ripley: Broadway star accused of ‘grooming’ young fans
Allegations against her are denied by the performer.
“Grooming” and inappropriate behavior towards youngsters have been charged of Broadway star Alice Ripley by four people.
TikTok has a unique personality. After posting a video on Facebook earlier this week, Brie Lynn became the first individual to speak out publicly about Ripley’s behavior.
When she and Ripley first met, she claimed, “we talked about a picture of you in lingerie”. ‘When I was 12, you told me that the first time we looked at each other, it was if the world had stopped.’
According to Lynn, the Tony Award-winning actor had “continuous inappropriate encounters” with her during the course of their time together.
Further accusations of Ripley’s manipulation were made by three more individuals. ‘I felt like I was in Alice Ripley’s cult,’ said one, who asked to be recognized only by her middle name.
In the words of Liz, an aspiring actor: “She takes advantage of individuals who are starving for love, and then she manipulates them with it.”
A second complainant, Meredith, commented on her thoughts after watching Lynn’s video: “In the last 48 hours, I’ve realized that there are other people in my demographic who have been traumatized by this relationship.”
“Very intimate” interactions with Ripley are described by a fourth complainant, Leo.
According to Ripley, “recently, an accusation was made against me online.” There’s no truth to any of this. “Thank you for your continuing support.”
Next to Normal actor allegedly took advantage of them, according to the four women. She’s been described as a “mother figure” by some, while others believe she made them fall in love with herself.
Ripley has not been accused of engaging in physical sexual behavior with any of her accusers.
